Over the past few weeks, I have been reminded about what a Mason is. A Mason to my account is a man more willing to give than receive. A man willing to see to the good will and well-being of his family, fellow brother, his friends, his community, church, and anyone he can help who may need a helping hand. A man who gives a little extra to see projects through to the end.
If you know of a man that fits this description, there's a good chance he is a Mason, thuogh in some cases he may not know it. Now I know, no Mason will ever ask a man to become a Mason, but some men need to be guided to the light for which we all seek. If you think back, how did you become a Mason? You must have seen a mentor or someone you looked up to taking part in his Masonic journey, decided to follow hom and thus ultimately asking the question which brough you to Masonry.
So if you know someone who may fit the mold, maybe you should see if he may want help in a project and you just might guide the man to the path of Masonry which we are all on.
Fraternally Yours,
Robert Stampley, WM
