Brethren,
I hope this finds you all well. As we close out the first half of the year, I pray that the best is still to come for us all in 2014.
First, I'd like to remind everyone that our July meeting will be held on the SECOND Friday of the month, July 11th, rather than on the 4th. Second, I'd like to say that this will be the second downstairs meeting of the year. This way, those brothers who normally can't make it to meetings because of the stairs don't have to miss out on all the brotherly love and affection.
Regretably, I won't be able to attend the July meeting, as I'll be travelling with family. However, the Lodge will be in good hands with Bro. Tom Hill, who will act as Worshipful Master pro tempore. Tom and the other officers did an excellent job stepping up in the line a few months ago, and I know they will do the same in my absense.
In the coming months, we have plenty of work ahead of us. We will have a MM° soon, even more degrees after that, and the Fall BBQ is right around the corner. I'm hoping that many hands will make light work, and that we'll all turn out to show our new brothers what Freemasonry is all about.
I'll leave you with this final thought: "What we are is God's gift to us. What we become is our gift to God." ~Louis Nizer
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Tobby Hagler, WM
